Great question! See details below:
ORIGINAL CORITE FAN CAMPAIGN MODEL
For both ARTISTS, and BACKERS who invest in a Fan Campaign on Corite, payments are made as soon as digital stores pay out the streaming royalties to Corite. The first payment made available to Corite is typically received the third month after the release goes live, as streaming platforms take that long to pay out to Corite. After the first payment, the following payments are made every month. Backers are paid first, and if the song reaches its goal set by the fan campaign creator, both artists and backers will share the success and receive payments beyond that point and until the one year campaign term period is over. After the campaign term is over, only artists will receive payments. Generally speaking, payments are typically made on the first Wednesday after the first week of each month, but dates may vary.
BLOCKCHAIN & NFT FAN CAMPAIGN MODEL
In this model, payments for ARTISTS and BACKERS will work differently and determined on a campaign basis. For that reason it is crucial that you read each fan campaign's description and also our Terms of use for a full understanding of the regulations, payment routines and fees applicable to each campaign, although typically Corite will make payments available within a reasonable timeframe after receiving the royalties from the artist or music creative and/or its distributors.
